Elliott’s extensive background in finance, grassroots initiatives, advocacy, housing development, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, grant writing, and compliance, along with proven expertise in working with local stakeholders to translate their ideas into actionable, funded projects, will all be utilized to improve the Ada area.
“I’ve been fortunate to be engaged with the Ada Jobs Foundation peripherally for many years and seen the innovative approach they’re taking to community and economic development,” said Amy Childers Elliott. “To now be directly involved is very exciting! I have a passion for helping Ada thrive as a community and see great things in our community’s future.”
“Amy brings a wealth experience and passion for helping Ada into this role,” said James Eldridge, President and CEO of the Ada Jobs Foundation. “One of our greatest opportunities for new economic growth is ensuring our community can attract and retain talented workers. Amy will be able to help us focus on developing community housing and revitalization programs, and we are thrilled to have her on our growing team.”
Amy received her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
