
Applications Now Open for The Big Pitch Ada 2021

ADA, OKLAHOMA – Applications are now open to compete in The Big Pitch Ada business pitch competition taking place on November 11, 2021.
The Ada Jobs Foundation hosts The Big Pitch Ada to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges and compete for cash prize money. As the competition is hosted for a fourth year, companies can apply to compete in two categories: revenue generating companies and idea-stage companies.
Applications are now open and will remain open until November 5th. The top entrants for each category will be selected from the applications to present live on Thursday, November 11th to a panel of judges consisting of industry experts and a live audience. All winners will receive cash prizes to test or advance their business. Prizes presented during the event include:
- 1st Place Revenue Generating Category Pitch Winner – $1,000
- 2nd Place Revenue Generating Category Pitch Winner – $250
- 1st Place Idea-Stage Category Pitch Winner – $500
- 2nd Place Idea-Stage Category Pitch Winner – $250
- People’s Choice Award Winner – $250
“The Big Pitch Ada is helping to grow our regional entrepreneurship ecosystem by creating an opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch in a live event before an expert panel of judges,” explained Jim Eldridge, AJF President and CEO. “We see this as a demonstration and celebration of our rural entrepreneurship community in Ada.”
The Ada Jobs Foundation will also offer the opportunity for those who are not pitching ideas to attend and observe the competition either in person or virtually. The competition will be open to the public audience on Thursday, November 11th from 2:30 to 5:00 pm, and there will be an opportunity to hear the top six finalists pitch live, participate in the People’s Choice Award poll, and encourage entrepreneurship in our community.
