Pontotoc Technology Center
Pontotoc Technology Center provides skills and technical training for a variety of career paths. PTC offers day and evening classes - both short and long-term, that will allow students to either gain the training they need to enter a particular career or to advance themselves in the current field. PTC is part of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education and is North Central Accredited.
Pontotoc Technology Center (PTC) provides the best-trained, most qualified applicants for area businesses as evidenced by local survery. Our graduates are in demand and have had 100% employment placement in the past two years. PTC provides a seamless transition to higher education, employment, the military, and career development for all programs of study.
PTC is recognized in the community as working with partner schools, employers, and individuals to provide a conducive learning environment where students have the opportunity to succeed.
PTC also provides free, on-site, customized business and industry training for new or expanding businesses through the Training for Industry Program (TIP). Many of Ada's businesses have utilized this program to train new and exiting employees on a variety topics including Occupational Safety, and industry specific training. Ongoing training is also available to allow employees to improve their skills and knowledge in order to move up in a business.
